Terms.

These terms cover your use of CastrCastr (“we”, “us”), the B2B casting platform at castrcastr.com. By signing up you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use the platform.

CastrCastr is in private beta. Features, pricing, and these terms may change. We’ll give you reasonable notice of material changes by email or in-app.

What we are, and what we’re not

CastrCastr is software. We connect agencies, brands, and casting directors and provide a matching engine, communications, and a record of submissions and rate negotiations. We are not a booking agent. We do not handle payments between you and another party. We take no commission on bookings agreed via the platform.

Commercial agreements between agencies, brands, and models are directly between those parties. CastrCastr is not a counterparty to those agreements and is not liable for their performance, payment, or outcomes.

Your account

You must be 18 or over and acting on behalf of a legitimate business — an agency, brand, or casting director. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, that post fraudulent briefs, impersonate others, scrape the platform, or otherwise misuse it.

Acceptable use

Don’t do any of the following on or via CastrCastr: spam other users, scrape data, impersonate a person or business, infringe intellectual property or publicity rights, upload illegal content, post discriminatory casting criteria contrary to applicable law, or attempt to circumvent platform security.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload — model photos, briefs, notes, rate cards, integration credentials. You grant us a limited licence to store, display, and process that content as needed to run the platform for you. We don’t use your content to train third-party models, and we don’t share it outside CastrCastr except as described in the Privacy notice.

Agencies are responsible for confirming that they hold the rights to the models, photographs, and rate information they upload. Brands are responsible for the legitimacy of their briefs and shoot details.

Integrations

If you connect a third-party tool (e.g. Syngency), you authorise us to access your data on that tool to the extent needed for the integration. We encrypt API keys at rest. You can disconnect at any time from /settings/integrations; doing so stops future syncs but does not delete the data we’ve already imported.

Beta status, no warranties

The platform is provided “as is” during the private beta. We don’t guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the matching engine will produce any specific commercial outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties.

Liability

We’re not liable to you for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss of data. Our total liability to you for direct losses, in aggregate over any twelve-month period, is capped at the greater of (a) the fees you’ve paid us in that period or (b) £100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under English law (e.g. for death, personal injury, or fraud).

Closing your account

You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@castrcastr.com. We’ll delete or anonymise your personal data per the Privacy notice. Records we need to keep for legal or audit reasons (e.g. completed bookings, financial records) may be retained for the applicable retention period.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes we can’t resolve directly are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Changes

We may revise these terms from time to time. If we do, we’ll update the effective date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app. Continued use after a change counts as acceptance.
